Creating Object User Certificates

This operation enables you to create object user certificates. You need to keep the certificates properly for user security.

Prerequisites

An object user has been created.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Access > Authentication User > Object Users.
  2. Select the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Click More on the right of the desired object user and select User Certificate.

    The User XXX Certificate page is displayed.

  4. Create a set of user certificates.

    • Automatic: The system automatically generates a set of object user certificates. This mode applies to scenarios where an object user is created on a non-secondary device.
      1. Click Create and select Automatic.
    • Manual: You need to manually enter the user certificates. This mode applies only to remote replication scenarios where an object user is created on a secondary device. The object user information on the secondary device must be the same as that on the primary device.
      1. Click Create and select Manual.
      2. On the Create User Certificate page that is displayed, enter the access certificate and security certificate. You need to obtain the access certificate and security certificate of the primary object user corresponding to the current secondary object user.

  5. Click OK.

    The system generates the access certificate and security certificate of the current object user. Keep the certificates properly. Do not disclose them to others.

  6. Click Copy Certificate Information.
  7. Click OK.
