Viewing Hardware Information

This operation enables you to view details about nodes, disks, ports, and data cluster modules of the storage system.

Procedure

  1. Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware.
  2. View the overall health information about the hardware.

In the upper area of the function pane, view the numbers of healthy or faulty nodes and ports, healthy, faulty, or subhealthy disks, and offline or online data cluster modules.

  3. In the lower part of the function pane, view details about nodes, disks, ports, and data cluster modules.

    • To view node details, click the Nodes tab. In the Node Status column, green indicates healthy and red indicates faulty.
    • To view disk details, click the Disks tab. In the Disk Status column, green indicates healthy, red indicates faulty, and orange indicates sub-healthy.
    • To view port details, click the Ports tab. In the Port Status column, green indicates healthy and red indicates faulty or unused.
    • To view data cluster module details, click the Data Cluster Modules tab. In the Status column, green indicates online and red indicates offline.

  4. (Optional) Click to switch to the card view. In the lower area of the function pane, view the detailed health information about the hardware.
