Modifying a Storage Pool

Procedure

1. Choose Resources > Resources > Storage Pool.
2. Click More on the right of the desired storage pool and select Modify.

   The Modify Storage Pool page is displayed.

3. Change the name of the storage pool.
   

   • The name must be unique.
   • The name can contain only letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
   • The name contains 1 to 64 characters.

4. Set Insufficient Storage Pool Capacity Alarm Threshold, Severe Insufficient Storage Pool Capacity Alarm Threshold, and Storage Pool Capacity Used Up Alarm Threshold.
   

   When the percentage of the used capacity in the total capacity (used capacity for short) of a storage pool reaches the capacity alarm threshold, the system generates an alarm. An alarm is generated in the following circumstances:

   • When the used capacity of a storage pool reaches the insufficient storage pool capacity alarm threshold, the system generates an alarm indicating that the storage pool capacity is insufficient.
   • When the used capacity of a storage pool reaches the severe insufficient storage pool capacity alarm threshold, the system generates an alarm indicating that the storage pool capacity is severely insufficient.
   • When the used capacity of a storage pool reaches the storage pool capacity used up alarm threshold, the system generates an alarm indicating that the storage pool capacity is about to be used up.

5. Click OK.
6. Confirm your operation as prompted.
