This section describes how to view placement policies of a namespace.
Context
- On the placement policy management page, you can click
to refresh placement policy information.
- On the placement policy management page, you can click
next to a parameter and enter a keyword to search for the required placement policy information.
- On the placement policy management page, you can click
to select the placement policy parameters you want to view.
Procedure
- Choose Resources > Tuning > SmartTier > Placement Policy.
- Select an account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
- Select the desired file directory from the list on the left. Placement policies created for it are displayed in the function pane on the right. Table 1 describes related parameters.
- The placement policy created for a dtree itself is preferentially used. If a dtree is not created with a placement policy, it inherits the placement policy of its parent namespace.
- When a file meets multiple placement policies, the priority of a policy is determined by its position in the table. Policies are sorted in ascending order of the priority. By default, policies are sorted by creation time. You can click Up or Down to change the location of a policy in the table.
