Upgrading Software

Prerequisites

You have obtained the latest software upgrade or patch package.

Procedure

1. On the menu bar, click and select Upgrade Software.

   The Upgrade Software page is displayed on the right.

2. Upload the system software or patch package as required.
   • Upload the system software package.
     1. Click the System Software tab.
     2. In Basic Service Package, click Please choose file, select the desired basic service upgrade package, and click Upload.
        

        • After the upgrade package is uploaded successfully, you can view Target Version and Release Time on the current page.
        • Click Details on the right of Target Version to view details about the current version.
     3. (Optional) Select Upgrade VBS compute nodes. The VBS compute nodes will be upgraded at the same time. You can deselect this option and upgrade the VBS nodes independently at another time.
        

        • This option is available only when the system has VBS compute nodes to be upgraded.
        • If you deselect this option, the VBS nodes will not be upgraded during the upgrade.
     4. Click Pre-upgrade Check.
     5. After the pre-upgrade check is successful, click Upgrade.
        The Upgrade dialog box is displayed. You can view the upgrade progress on the current page.

        

        • You can click Pause manually to pause the upgrade.
        • You can click Rollback to roll back the system to the source version.
        • You can click Continue to continue the upgrade.
     6. After the upgrade is successful, click Confirm.
   • Upload the system patch package.
     1. Click the Patch tab.
     2. In Patch Package, click Please choose file, select the desired basic service patch package, and click Upload.
        

        • After the patch package is uploaded successfully, you can view Target Version and Release Time on the current page.
        • Click Details on the right of Target Version to view details about the current version.
     3. (Optional) Select Upgrade VBS compute nodes. The VBS compute nodes will be upgraded at the same time. You can deselect this option and upgrade the VBS nodes independently at another time.
        

        • This option is available only when the system has VBS compute nodes to be upgraded.
        • If you deselect this option, the VBS nodes will not be upgraded during the upgrade.
     4. Confirm the information and click Upgrade.
        The Upgrade dialog box is displayed. You can view the upgrade progress on the current page.

     5. After the upgrade is successful, click Confirm.
