Viewing HyperMetro Pair Information

Context

• On the HyperMetro pair management page, you can click to refresh HyperMetro pair information.
• On the HyperMetro pair management page, you can click or next to a parameter and enter a keyword or select a parameter value to search for the required HyperMetro pair information.
• On the HyperMetro pair management page, you can click to select the HyperMetro pair parameters you want to view.

Procedure

1. Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Volume > HyperMetro Pair.
2. View the basic information about a HyperMetro pair. Table 1 describes related parameters.

   Table 1 HyperMetro pair parameters

   Parameter	Description
   Local Resource	Indicates the name of a local resource.
   Local Resource ID	Indicates the ID of a local resource.
   Remote Resource	Indicates the name of a remote resource.
   Remote Resource ID	Indicates the ID of a remote resource.
   Pair ID	Indicates the HyperMetro pair IDs of local and remote resources.
   Health Status	Indicates whether a HyperMetro pair is healthy. Possible options are Normal and Fault.
   Running Status	Indicates the running status of a HyperMetro pair. Possible values are as follows: Unknown: The system fails the query. Normal: A HyperMetro pair enters this state after data is synchronized successfully. In this state, both local and remote storage systems support reads and writes. To be synchronized: A HyperMetro pair enters this state after a synchronization I/O fault, dual-write I/O fault, or replication link disconnection occurs. In this state, either the local or remote storage system supports reads and writes. Paused: A HyperMetro pair enters this state after you click Pause for it. In this state, either the local or remote storage system supports reads and writes. Synchronizing: A HyperMetro pair is being synchronized. In this state, either the local or remote storage system supports reads and writes. Force Start: A HyperMetro pair enters this state after you click Force Start for it or manually start the local or remote storage system. In this state, either the local or remote storage system supports reads and writes. Invalid: A HyperMetro pair enters this state after it is disconnected, deleted from the local or remote storage system, being created, or being deleted. In this state, the HyperMetro pair can no longer be used and restored. In this case, you need to delete the HyperMetro pair from both local and remote storage systems. Otherwise, further HyperMetro pair creation operations may fail.
   Link Status	Indicates the status of a link connected to a HyperMetro pair
   Local Resource Role in Arbitration	Indicates whether the local resource is provided by the preferred site.
   Owning HyperMetro Domain	Indicates the HyperMetro domain to which a HyperMetro pair belongs.
   Local Resource Data Status	Indicates the data status of a local resource.
   Remote Resource Data Status	Indicates the data status of a remote resource.
   Local Resource Host Access Status	Indicates the host access status of a local resource.
   Remote Resource Host Access Status	Indicates the host access status of a remote resource.
   HyperMetro Consistency Group ID	Indicates the ID of a HyperMetro consistency group to which the HyperMetro pair belongs.
   Data Synchronization Direction	Indicates the data synchronization direction. Possible options are Local to Remote and Remote to Local.
