Managing a Port Pool

This section describes how to add or remove a port pool of a zone.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Access > Service Network.
  2. Select the desired account and subnet from the Account and Subnet drop-down lists, respectively.
  3. Click More on the right of the desired zone and select Port Pool.

    The Port Pool page is displayed.

  4. Configure the port pool.

    • Adding a port
      1. Click Add.

        The Add Port page is displayed.

      2. Select the ports planned for service network communication. You can select a single port or bond ports. To add or modify bond ports, click Manage Service Bond Port on the displayed page.

        You are advised to select bond ports.

      3. (Optional) Manage service bond ports.
        1. Click Manage Service Bond Port.

          The Manage Service Bond Port page is displayed.

        2. Create a port.
          1. Click Create.

            The Create Bond Port page is displayed.

          2. Configure the bond port information. Table 1 describes related parameters.

            Parameter

            Description

            Bond Port Name

            Indicates the name of the bond port.

            Transmission Protocol

            Indicates the transmission protocol of the bond port. Possible options are TCP and IB.

            Physical Port

            Indicates the physical port to be bound.

            Bond Mode

            Indicates the bond mode.

            When Transmission Protocol is set to TCP, bond1 and bond4 are supported.

            When Transmission Protocol is set to IB, only bond1 is supported.

            • bond1: active/standby mode
            • bond4: dynamic link aggregation mode

            MTU (Bytes)

            Indicates the maximum transmission unit of the bond port.

          3. Click OK.
        3. Delete a bond port.

          Click More on the right of the desired bond port and select Delete.

        4. Click Close.
      4. Click OK.
    • Removing a port
      Select one or more desired ports and click Remove.

      You can also click More on the right of a desired port and select Remove.

    • Enabling or disabling the DNS service

      Click More on the right of the desired port and select Enable DNS Service or Disable DNS Service.

  5. Click Close.
