Unmapping a Snapshot

This operation enables you to unmap a snapshot from hosts, host groups, or VBSs.

Prerequisites

A snapshot has been mapped.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Volume > Snapshot.
  2. Click More on the right of the desired snapshot and select Unmap.

    The Unmap Snapshot page is displayed.

  3. Select Host, Host Group, or VBS as required. In the Available Hosts, Available Host Groups, or Available VBSs are, select one or more objects and click to add them to the Selected Hosts, Selected Host Groups, or Selected VBSs area on the right.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Confirm your operation as prompted.
