This section describes node parameters. You can also modify node information, such as node names.
Procedure
- Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware.
- In the lower part of the function pane, click the management IP address of the node that you want to view.
The Node Details page is displayed.
The Node Details page varies based on the node type.
- View the node details. Table 1 describes related parameters.

Description
Name
Name of a node.
[Value range]
- The name contains 1 to 64 characters.
- The name can contain only letters, digits, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.), and must start and end with a letter or digit. A period (.) cannot be adjacent to a period (.), hyphen (-), or underscore (_).
NOTE:If you change the name of a node whose role is only DPC compute or VBS compute, the hostname of the node is not changed accordingly.
Node Status
Health status of a node.
Cabinet
Cabinet where a node resides.
[Value range]
- The value contains 1 to 256 characters.
- The value can contain only letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
- The value cannot start or end with a space.
NOTE:This parameter can be modified only for newly-added nodes that have not been used.
Chassis
Chassis where a node resides.
[Value range]
- The value contains 0 to 256 characters.
- The value can contain only letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
NOTE:This parameter can be modified only for newly-added nodes that have not been used.
Slot
Number of the slot where a node resides.
[Value range]
A slot number is an integer ranging from 0 to 6000.
NOTE:This parameter can be modified only for newly-added nodes that have not been used.
Management IP Address
Management IP address of a node.
Storage IP Address
Storage IP address of a node.
Control IP Address
Control IP address of a node.
NOTE:This parameter is displayed only when Multiple IP Addresses is set Yes.
SN
Sequence number of a node.
Role
Role of a node.
Starting Point Date
Lifespan starting date of a node.
Session
Lifespan of a node.
Status
Lifespan status of a node.
- Normal: Starting Point Date + Session – Current Date ≥ 180 days
- About to expire: 0 days ≤ Starting Point Date + Session – Current Date ≤ 179 days
- Expired: Starting Point Date + Session – Current Date < 0 days
- Not configured: No lifespan information is configured.
Maintenance Mode
Whether the maintenance mode of a node is enabled.
Setting the boot mode
Whether a node is securely started.
Processes
Processes on a node.
NOTE:A process displayed in red indicates that the process is abnormal.
Ports
Ports on a node.
NOTE:If a port is displayed in red, it is faulty or disconnected.
Disks
Disks on a node. You can click a disk icon to view its details.
NOTE:- If a disk is displayed in red, it is faulty.
- If a disk is displayed in orange, it is sub-healthy.
SSD Cards & NVMe SSDs
NVMe SSDs on a node. You can click the icon of an NVMe SSD to view its details.
NOTE:- If a disk is displayed in red, it is faulty.
- If a disk is displayed in orange, it is sub-healthy.
- Before removing an NVMe SSD in any of slots 80 to 103 or 124 to 127, click Logically Power Off. Remove the SSD card or NVMe SSD only after it is logically powered off. Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware and select Disks to view slot numbers of disks.
M.2 SSDs
M.2 SSDs on a node.
NOTE:- If an M.2 SSD is displayed in red, it is faulty.
- If an M.2 SSD is displayed in orange, it is sub-healthy.
System Disks
System disks on a node.
NOTE:- If a system disk is displayed in red, it is faulty.
- If a system disk is displayed in orange, it is sub-healthy.
