Deleting a Local UNIX Authentication User Group

After a local UNIX authentication user group is deleted, it can no longer access shares. However, users in the user group can access the shared resources as authentication users.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Access > Authentication User > UNIX Users > Local Authentication User Group.
  2. Select the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Select one or more desired local UNIX authentication user groups and click Delete.

    You can also click More on the right of a desired local UNIX authentication user group and select Delete.

  4. Confirm your operation as prompted.
