Viewing Volumes

This section describes how to view information about volumes.

Context

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Resources > Volume > Volume.
  2. Select an account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. View information about volumes in the function pane. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    ID

    Indicates the ID of a volume.

    Name

    Indicates the name of a volume.

    Health Status

    Indicates the health status of a volume.

    Running Status

    Indicates the running status of a volume.

    Used Capacity

    Indicates the used capacity of a volume.

    Total Capacity

    Indicates the total capacity of a volume.

    Capacity Usage (%)

    Indicates the ratio of Used Capacity to Total Capacity.

    Protection Capacity

    Indicates the data protection capacity of a volume.

    WWN

    Indicates the world wide name (WWN) of a volume.

    Created

    Indicates the time when a volume was created.

    Mapped

    Indicates whether a volume is mapped to a host.

    Clone Volume

    Indicates whether a volume is a clone volume.

    Source Snapshot Name

    Indicates the name of the source snapshot of a clone volume.

    Source Volume Name

    Indicates the name of the source volume of a clone volume.

    Owning Storage Pool

    Indicates the storage pool to which a volume belongs.

    Data Encryption

    Specifies whether data encryption is enabled for a volume.

    NOTE:

    To use the data encryption function, you need to import an advanced license.

    Encryption Algorithm

    Indicates the encryption algorithm used after data encryption is enabled.

    You can click the name of a volume to view its mapping and snapshot information.
