After a failure of a system or a quorum server is fixed, you can forcibly start a HyperMetro CG to provide services.
Prerequisites
- Running Status of a HyperMetro CG is Paused, Force started, or To be synchronized.
- To ensure data security, shut down the service host and disconnect it from the quorum server before forcibly starting a HyperMetro CG. After the HyperMetro CG is started, restart the service host and reconnect it to the quorum server.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Protection Group > HyperMetro Consistency Group.
- Select the desired HyperMetro CG, and click Force Start.
You can also click More on the right of the desired HyperMetro consistency group and select Force Start.
- Confirm your operation as prompted.
