Creating a Snapshot

A snapshot can be created to generate a copy of the source dtree at the current point in time. A snapshot is available immediately after it is created. Read operations on the snapshot does not affect the data in the source dtree.

Procedure

  2. Select the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Select the desired dtree and click Create Snapshot.

The Create Snapshot page is displayed.

You can also click More on the right of a dtree and select Create Snapshot.

  4. Select the dtree to be created with a snapshot from the Dtree drop-down list and the namespace to which the selected dtree belongs from the Namespace drop-down list.
