Modifying a User or User Group

Prerequisites

You have added a user or user group to a CIFS share.

Procedure

1. Choose Resources > Resources > Share > CIFS Share.
2. Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
3. Click the name of the desired CIFS share.
4. In the Permission area on the page that is displayed, click More on the right of a desired user or user group and select Modify.

   The Modify User or User Group page is displayed.

5. In Permission Level, select the permission granted to the user or user group for accessing the CIFS share.

   Table 1 describes related permissions.

   a: Users do not have the permission. b: Users have the permission. c: The specified permission is not involved.

   

   The permission for an audit log namespace share cannot set to Read/Write and Full control.

6. Click OK.
