Configuring IP Addresses

This section describes how to configure IP addresses for the VLAN ports. Each VLAN port can be configured with two IP addresses.

Procedure

  1. Choose Cluster > Network > Port and Route > VLAN Port.
  2. Select one or more VLAN ports for which you want to configure IP addresses and click Configure IP Address.

    The Configure IP Address page is displayed.

  3. Click on the right of Selected VLAN Ports. In Available VLAN Ports, select the ports for which you want to configure IP addresses. They will be automatically added to Selected VLAN Ports on the right.

    You can configure IP addresses in a batch only for VLAN ports that have the same name and ID on different nodes and are each bound with less than two IP addresses.

  4. Configure IP addresses.

    1. Click Add IP Address Segment.
    2. Set the parameters listed in Table 1.

      Description

      IP Address Range

      Set Start IP Address and End IP Address.

      NOTE:
      • The start and end IP addresses must be both IPv4 or IPv6 addresses at the same time.
      • The end IP address must be greater than or equal to the start IP address.

      Subnet Mask/Prefix

      If the IP addresses are IPv4 addresses, enter the corresponding subnet mask.

      If the IP addresses are IPv6 addresses, enter the corresponding prefix.

      • To add a new IP address segment, click Add IP Address Segment.
      • To delete one or more IP address segments, select them and click Remove. You can also click More > Remove on the right of an IP address segment to remove it.
      • To modify an IP address segment, click More > Modify on the right of it.
    3. Click Preview. The system displays the IP address to be assigned to the VLAN ports.

  5. Click OK.
