A snapshot schedule automatically creates snapshots based on a user-defined schedule policy to flexibly and frequently generate multiple recovery points for data on storage devices, ensuring fast data recovery.
Namespaces and dtrees configured with compression policies cannot be added to snapshot schedules.
The Create Snapshot Schedule page is displayed.
Table 1 describes related parameters.

The storage system supports four configuration modes, which can be executed concurrently.
Initialize the WORM clock before enabling the secure snapshot function.
The secure snapshot function ensures that, after a scheduled snapshot is created, it enters the protection state and cannot be deleted. However, it can be read for multiple times.
Table 2 describes related parameters.

Description |
|---|---|
Protection Period |
Protection period of a scheduled snapshot. Snapshots within the protection period cannot be deleted. [Value range]
[Default value] 1 day |
Auto Deletion |
After this function is enabled, the system automatically deletes the scheduled snapshots after the protection period expires.
NOTE:
Before enabling this function, ensure that the scheduled snapshots no longer require protection after the protection period expires and can be automatically deleted by the system. [Default value] Disabled |
In this area, you can set a retention period for scheduled snapshots. The value must be an integral multiple of the fixed period.
In this area, you can set the number of snapshots to be retained for each member in the snapshot schedule. The value ranges from 1 to 4096.
