This section describes how to quickly recover data of the source volume to the state when the snapshot was generated, reducing the amount of lost data.
Prerequisites
- At least one snapshot has been created in the storage system and its Running Status is Online.
- Host services have been stopped before the rollback to ensure data consistency.
- If the source volume of the snapshot is also the local volume or remote volume of the HyperMetro pair, perform the rollback only after Running Status of the HyperMetro pair is Paused.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Volume > Snapshot.
- Click More on the right of the desired snapshot and select Start Rollback.
- Confirm your operation as prompted.
