Change a non-default cluster to the default cluster.
Context
- When changing the default cluster, you only need to set a new default cluster. The default object service cluster will automatically switch to the new cluster.
- You are advised to set the non-default cluster whose configuration synchronization time is closest to the current time as the default cluster.
- Before changing the default cluster, ensure that the new default cluster is not faulty and the view is not updated on the current cluster or the current cluster is not initialized.
- When changing the default cluster, do not add or delete a cluster. Otherwise, the change will fail.
- When changing the default cluster, do not create a bucket until the default cluster is changed. Otherwise, the creation will fail.
- If external DNS servers are used, change the location service domain name and POE authentication service domain name configured on the active and standby DNS servers of all subnets after changing the default cluster.
Prerequisites
Log in to DeviceManager of the non-default cluster to change it to the default cluster.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Configuration > Cross-Site DR > Topology.
- In the local cluster area on the right of the function pane, choose Operation > Set as Default Cluster to change a current non-default cluster to the default cluster.
- Confirm your operation as prompted.
