General SmartQoS is an account-, namespace-, and client-level traffic control technology used in distributed storage systems. It allows you to set performance upper limits for QoS control objects (accounts, namespaces, and clients). In this way, the performance of QoS control objects does not exceed the upper limits, ensuring the performance of mission-critical services. This section describes how to configure SmartQoS policies for namespaces and clients. Account-level SmartQoS policies are created during account creation.
