iBMC is a remote management system. It monitors and manages hardware in a highly reliable manner. After the password of a node in the iBMC system is changed, you need to perform the operations described in this section to change the password on DeviceManager. Otherwise, DeviceManager cannot monitor or manage hardware.
Procedure
- Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware.
- In the lower part of the function pane, select nodes and click Configure iBMC Password.
The Configure iBMC Password page is displayed.
- In the Available Nodes area, select the nodes whose passwords need to be changed and they are added to the Selected Nodes area.
- Enter the user name and password of a node in the iBMC system.
The password must be the same as the node password configured in the iBMC system.
- Click OK.
