Enabling Protection for Secondary Resources

After secondary resource protection is enabled, the secondary namespace no longer receives read and write requests from hosts and only receives remote replication requests from the primary namespace.

Prerequisites

Running Status and Secondary Resource Data Status of the remote replication pair support protection enablement. Table 1 describes in which status secondary resource protection can be enabled for a remote replication pair.
