Unmapping a Snapshot

This section describes how to unmap a snapshot from hosts, host groups, or VBSs.

Prerequisites

A snapshot has been mapped.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Volume > Snapshot.
  2. Click More on the right of the desired snapshot and select Unmap.

    The Unmap Snapshot page is displayed.

  3. Select Host, Host Group, or VBS as required. In the Available Hosts, Available Host Groups, or Available VBSs area, select one or more objects. They will be automatically added to the Selected Hosts, Selected Host Groups, or Selected VBSs area on the right.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Confirm your operation as prompted.
