Before replacing a disk on a node, you need to set the node to the maintenance mode to prolong the disk replacement time and prevent the disk from being rejected.
Prerequisites
A node has been added to a storage pool.
Procedure
- Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware.
- In the lower part of the function pane, click More on the right of a desired node and select Set Maintenance Mode.
- You can also click
to go to the card view. In the corresponding node information box, click
and select Set Maintenance Mode to enable the maintenance mode for the node.
- A node can remain in maintenance mode for 45 minutes. After that, you need to manually switch the node to the maintenance mode again. Otherwise, disks on the node will be rejected.
- Click the node name. On the Node Details page that is displayed, check whether the value of Maintenance Mode is Yes.
