This section describes how to define HyperMetro relationships and data synchronization properties between the storage resources on two storage systems, achieving active-active storage. In the event of a disaster, the arbitration mechanism of HyperMetro determines the site that can continue providing storage services to implement DR.
The Create HyperMetro Pair dialog box is displayed.
You need to select a HyperMetro CG only when Initial Synchronization is set to Local and remote data is inconsistent. Data is automatically synchronized after creation or Local and remote data is inconsistent. Manually synchronize data after creation.
To query the remote resource ID, log in to the remote device, choose Resources > Volume, click
, and select the desired volume ID.
