Adding a Dtree to a Snapshot Schedule

After a dtree is added to a snapshot schedule, scheduled snapshots will be created based on the policy.

Prerequisites

A namespace and a dtree have been created.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Resources > Dtree.
  2. Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Select an owning namespace and then a desired dtree, and click Protection > Add to Snapshot Schedule.

    The Add to Snapshot Schedule page is displayed.

    You can also click More on the right of a desired dtree and select Add to Snapshot Schedule.

  4. On the Dtree tab page, select an owning namespace and then desired dtrees that you want to add a snapshot schedule. They will be automatically added to the right pane.

    Perform this step only when you need to adjust the selected dtree or add a dtree of another namespace.

  5. Select a snapshot schedule to which the dtrees are to be added.

    You can also click Create to create a snapshot schedule.

  6. Click OK.
