Viewing Local Authentication Users

Context

• On the local authentication user management page, click to refresh local authentication users.
• On the local authentication user management page, click to export a list of local authentication users.
• On the local authentication user management page, click next to a parameter and enter a keyword or select a parameter value to search for desired local authentication users.
• On the local authentication user management page, click and select desired local authentication user parameters to be viewed.
• On the local authentication user management page, click and next to a parameter to change the display order of local authentication users.

Procedure

1. Choose Resources > Access > Authentication User > Windows Users > Local Authentication User.
2. Select an account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
3. View the local authentication users of the account in the function pane. Table 1 describes related parameters.

   Table 1 Local authentication user parameters

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Name of a local authentication user.
   RID	RID of a local authentication user.
   Status	Status of a local authentication user. That is, whether the user is enabled.
   Password Validity Period (Days)	Password validity period of a local authentication user. After the password expires, the user cannot access shares.

4. (Optional) Click the name of a local authentication user to view its basic information and manage its owning user groups.
