Disabling LLDP

This section describes how to disable LLDP for a node.

Precautions

Performing this operation on DeviceManager will disable LLDP for all storage and management nodes.

Procedure

  1. Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware.
  2. In the lower part of the function pane, click Link Discovery.

    The Link Discovery page is displayed.

  3. In the LLDP Link Discovery Status area, check whether the current protocol is enabled.

    • Enabled: LLDP is enabled on all storage and management nodes.
    • Disabled: LLDP is disabled on all storage and management nodes.
    • Partially disabled: LLD is disabled on some storage and management nodes.

  4. Click Disable to disable LLDP on all storage and management nodes.
  5. (Optional) If LLDP fails to be disabled on any node, click Details to view the node and failure details.
