This section describes how to stop the DPC process on a node.
Prerequisites
- The namespace mounted to the DPC node has been unmounted.
- The FSA process on the node has been started or Status of the node is Abnormal.
Procedure
- Choose Resources > Access > DPC.
- Select one or more desired DPC nodes and click Delete DPC.
- You can also click More on the right of a desired DPC node and select Delete DPC.
- After uninstalling the namespaces mounted to a DPC node, wait for about 5 minutes before deleting the DPC node. Otherwise, the DPC node may fail to be deleted.
- Confirm your operation as prompted.
- If the status of a DPC node is Abnormal, you can select Forcibly delete abnormal DPC nodes (available only when all the selected DPC nodes are abnormal). to forcibly delete it.
- After an abnormal DPC node is deleted, you need to clear the related alarms manually.
- You can click Create DPC and select Existing Node to add a deleted DPC node again. For details, see Adding an Existing DPC Node.
- Deleting a DPC node only stops the DPC process on the node. For details about how to remove the node, see Removing a Node.
