Mapping a Snapshot

This section describes how to map a snapshot to hosts, host groups, or VBSs.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Volume > Snapshot.
  2. Select one or more desired snapshots and click Map.

    The Map Snapshot page is displayed on the right.

    You can also click More on the right of a desired snapshot and select Map.

  3. Select Host, Host Group, or VBS as required. In the Available Hosts, Available Host Groups, or Available VBSs area, select one or more objects. They will be automatically added to the Selected Hosts, Selected Host Groups, or Selected VBSs area on the right.
  4. Click OK.

    Confirm your operation as prompted.
