Modifying a Non-Super Administrator

If a non-super administrator forgets the login password, a super administrator has the permission to reset the password on the system management page.

Context

Only super administrators can initialize passwords of non-super administrators.

Procedure

  1. Choose Settings > User and Security > Users and Roles > User Management.
  2. Select the desired user and click Modify.

The Modify User page is displayed.

Once the role of a user is set to Machine-machine account, it cannot be changed. In addition, users of other roles cannot be changed to the Machine-machine account role.

  4. Change the user login method. Select at least one of the login methods among DeviceManager, CLI, and RESTful.

The login method of a machine-machine account cannot be changed.

  5. Enable Initialize password and set Password of Current User, New Password, and Confirm Password. Click OK.

If you are modifying the information about an LDAP user or LDAP user group, this operation is unavailable.

  6. Confirm your operation as prompted.
