Reducing the Capacity of a Disk Pool

Prerequisites

Before reducing the capacity of a disk pool, delete the converged EDS service on the nodes to be deleted. To stop the service, run the following CLI command:

delete converged_eds_node general  storage_pool_id=Storage pool ID node_ip=Management IP address of a storage node to be deleted

Procedure

1. Choose Resources > Resources > Storage Pool.
2. Click the name of the desired storage pool. On the page that is displayed, click the Disk Pool tab.
3. Click More on the right of the desired disk pool and select Reduce Capacity.

   The Reduce Capacity page is displayed.

4. Select the node to be removed.
5. Click OK.
6. Confirm your operation as prompted.
