Viewing Deletion Policies

This section describes how to view deletion policies of a namespace.

Context

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Dataflow > SmartTier > Deletion Policy.
  2. Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Select a desired file directory from the list on the left. Deletion policies created for it are displayed in the function pane on the right. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    For a directory, if it is created with a deletion policy, such policy is applied preferentially. If the directory is not created with a deletion policy, it inherits the policy created for its parent directory.

    User or user group filtering policy of a deletion policy.

    File Size

    Size of files for which a deletion policy takes effect.

    Execution Mode

    Execution mode of a deletion policy.

    Task Status

    Task status for a deletion policy.

    Time Policy

    Operation time filtering policy of a deletion policy.

    Recycle Bin

    Whether to enable the recycle bin function for the deletion policy.

    Tag filtering policy of a deletion policy.

    Days to Expire

    Policy of filtering objects of the current version that have been created for a specific number of days.

    Expiration Date

    Policy of filtering objects of the current version that expire on a specific date.

    Days to Expire Noncurrent Versions

    Policy of filtering objects that have become noncurrent versions for a specific number of days.

    Delete Expired Object Delete Markers

    Delete markers of objects without historical versions.

    You can click the name of a desired policy to view its general information.
