Viewing a Replication Group

View detailed information about a replication group.

Prerequisites

A replication group exists.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Configuration > Cross-Site DR > Replication Group.
  2. In the function pane, select a desired replication group from the list on the left. The information about the selected replication group is displayed on the right.

The following information is displayed, including the replication group name, policy type, time when the replication group is created, clusters of the replication group, primary/secondary relationship and link status between clusters, and associated namespaces.

  3. Move the cursor to each cluster in the topology view. A floating window is displayed. In the floating window, you can view the type (active, passive, or passive (auto takeover)), read/write mode (read-only or read/write), replication mode (synchronous or asynchronous), and DeviceManager management IP address of each cluster.

The topology of a replication group is described as follows:

    • Green solid line: In synchronous replication mode, the replication link between two clusters is normal and the data is consistent.
    • Green dotted line: In asynchronous replication mode, the replication link between two clusters is normal.
    • Red solid line: In synchronous replication mode, the replication link between two clusters is faulty.
    • Red dotted line: In asynchronous replication mode, the replication link between two clusters is faulty.
    • Blue solid line: In synchronous replication mode, the replication link between two clusters is normal, but data is temporarily inconsistent and is being synchronized.
    • Gray dotted line: There is no direct replication relationship between two clusters.
