Viewing the Topology Containing Multiple Clusters

View the topology and replication status between clusters that support cross-site DR.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Configuration > Cross-Site DR > Topology.
  2. On the left of the function pane, you can view the topology between clusters that support cross-site DR. On the connection line between every two clusters in the topology view, link latency between the two clusters is displayed and is refreshed every 10 seconds.
  3. (Optional) After adding or removing a remote device that supports cross-site DR, click Update Topology to refresh the topology. To view the link latency between non-default clusters, you can click the icons of the non-default clusters.

    • Non-default clusters do not support the update operation.
    • If the link latency between clusters cannot be queried, Failed to query the latency is displayed on the corresponding connection line.

  4. On the right of the function pane, you can view information about the local cluster. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Table 1 Local cluster parameters

    Parameter

    Description

    Name

    Name of the local cluster.

    SN

    SN of the local cluster.

    Status

    Status of the local cluster.

    [Value range]

    • Healthy with a green dot
    • Abnormal with a red dot

    Sync Replication I/O Status

Synchronous replication I/O status of the current site within 2 minutes.

    [Value range]

    • Sync success rate = 100%
    • 80% ≤ sync success rate < 100%
    • 50% ≤ sync success rate < 80%
    • Sync success rate < 50%
    • No sync replication service within 2 minutes
    • Failed to query sync success rate

    Default Cluster

Whether the local cluster is the default cluster.

    Configuration Sync Time

Time when the cluster information, account information, and bucket location information of the default cluster was last synchronized to a non-default cluster.

The configuration synchronization time is used to determine which non-default cluster is most suitable to be used as the default cluster. You are advised to set the non-default cluster whose configuration synchronization time is closest to the current time as the default cluster.

    NOTE:

The configuration synchronization time can be viewed only on a non-default cluster.

    QoS Replication Policy

Maximum replication bandwidth of the local cluster.

    Sync Replication Link Latency

Threshold for checking whether the latency of a synchronous replication link is subhealthy. The default threshold is 10 ms.

    Site Sync

Object Data Sync Time: time that is farthest from the current time in the Data Last Replicated column on the details page, indicating that data of all remote clusters that form a replication group with the local cluster has been synchronized to the local cluster before this time point.

Click View Details to go to the Replication Progress page to view the data synchronization status from remote clusters to the local cluster. Table 2 describes related parameters.

Table 2 Parameters for site data synchronization details

    Parameter

    Description

    Remote Cluster Name

Name of a remote cluster that forms a replication group with the local cluster.

    Data Last Replicated

If no cluster fault occurs or bucket replication is not suspended, data generated before this time point in the corresponding remote cluster has been replicated to the local cluster.

    Metadata Last Replicated

If no cluster fault occurs or bucket replication is not suspended, metadata generated before this time point in the corresponding remote cluster has been replicated to the local cluster.

    Data to Be Replicated Exists

Whether there is data remaining to be synchronized from the remote clusters to the local cluster.
    • No: The replication is complete.
    • Yes: The replication is not complete.
