Modifying a CIFS Share

This operation enables you to modify properties of a CIFS share.

Prerequisites

You have created a CIFS share.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > File Service > Share > CIFS Share.
  2. Click More on the right of the desired CIFS share and select Modify.

    The Modify CIFS Share page is displayed on the right.

    You can also click the name of the desired CIFS share. In the upper right corner of the page that is displayed, click Operation and select Modify.

  3. Modify Description of the CIFS share.

    The description can be left blank or contain up to 255 characters.

  4. Click OK.
