Viewing Quota Reports

This operation enables you to view information about quota reports.

Context

Prerequisites

You have created a file system and a quota.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > File Service > Quota > Quota Reports.
  2. Select a file system and view its quota reports in the function pane. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Dtree

    Indicates the dtree controled by a quota.

    NOTE:

    If the quota is a user quota or user group quota created for the file system, the value is displayed as --.

    ID

    Indicates the ID of a quota.

    Quota Type

    Indicates the type of a quota.

    User or User Group

    Indicates the name of the user or user group controled by a quota.

    NOTE:

    If the quota is a directory quota, the value is displayed as --.

    User or User Group Type

    Indicates the type of the user or user group controled by a quota. The value can be Local or Domain.

    NOTE:

    When Quota Type is Directory quota, or User or User Group is All users or All user groups, the value is displayed as --.

    Space Hard Quota

    Indicates the space hard quota. If the quota is reached, the system immediately forbids writes and generates an alarm.

    Space Soft Quota

    Indicates the space soft quota. If the quota is reached, the system generates an alarm but still allows writes. If the soft quota grace period elapses or hard quota is reached, the system immediately forbids writes.

    Used Space Quota

    Indicates the used file space.

    NOTE:

    If the quota is created for the file system, the value is displayed as --.

    Space Quota Usage (%)

    Indicates the percentage of Used Space Quota to Space Hard Quota.

    File Quantity Hard Quota

    Indicates the file quantity hard quota. If the quota is reached, new files cannot be added. Operations on existing files are not affected.

    File Quantity Soft Quota

    Indicates the file quantity soft quota. If the quota is reached, the system generates an alarm but new files can still be added. If the soft quota grace period elapses or hard quota is reached, new files cannot be added.

    Used File Quantity Quota

    Indicates the number of existing files.

    NOTE:

    If the quota is created for the file system, the value is displayed as --.

    File Quantity Quota Usage (%)

    Indicates the percentage of Used File Quantity Quota to File Quantity Hard Quota.

    Soft Quota Grace Period (Days)

    If the used file space or number of files reaches the soft quota, the system generates an alarm but still allows writes or new files can still be added within this period. If this period elapses, the system immediately forbids writes and new files cannot be added.
