Configuring and Managing Shares
You can access a file system only after it is shared. This section describes how to share file systems using different protocols.
Configuring and Managing Authentication Users
Authentication users can access the created file system shares. Authentication users include local authentication users and user groups.
Configuring and Managing Quotas
This section describes how to configure and manage quotas. Quotas are used to manage the space usage or file quantity of file systems or dtrees in file systems.
Configuring and Managing Tiering Policies
This section describes how to configure a tiering policy and manage the tier grades of the disk pools on which file systems are placed or to which file systems are migrated.
Configuring and Managing SmartCache
When the types of main storage media and cache media in a disk pool are different and the disk pool contains NVMe SSDs, configuring SmartCache allows the system to store frequently-accessed data onto high-performance NVMe SSDs. This ensures the response speed for hot spot data access. Data that is seldom accessed is stored onto other SAS or SATA disks, which does not occupy high-performance resources.
