Viewing Zones

Context

• In the zone management area, you can click to refresh zone information.
• In the zone management area, you can click or next to a parameter and enter a key word or select a parameter value to search for the required zone information.
• In the zone management area, you can click to select the zone parameters you want to view.

Procedure

1. Choose Services > HDFS Service > Service Network.
2. View information about zones in the Zone area. Table 1 describes related parameters.

   Table 1 Zone parameters

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Indicates the name of a zone.
   Zone Type	Indicates the type of a zone. Possible options are Global and NameNode.
   Sub-domain Name	Indicates the sub-domain name of a zone. This function must be used together with the DNS function in the subnet.
   DNS Policy	Indicates the DNS policy of a zone. Possible options are as follows: Round robin If clients access services using domain names, nodes are selected to process service requests of clients based on the sequence recorded in the cache. Node connections If clients access services using domains names, nodes with the fewest connections are selected to process service requests of clients. CPU usage If clients access services using domains names, nodes with the lowest CPU usage are selected to process service requests of clients. Node throughput If clients access services using domains names, nodes with the lowest throughput are selected to process service requests of clients.
   ID of Associated File System	Indicates the ID of the file system associated with a zone.
   DNS Service	Indicates whether the DNS service is enabled for a zone.
   IP Address Failover	Indicates whether IP address failover is enabled for a zone. After this parameter is enabled, when a node is faulty, its IP address can be automatically allocated to another normal node. Therefore, clients can continue to access the storage system using this IP address.
