Description

Switchover Mode
|
Indicates the path switchover mode. Modes Disable ALUA and Enable ALUA are supported.
NOTE: - The multipathing mode type of a host initiator:
- ALUA is a multi-target port access model. In the multipathing state, the ALUA mode presents active/passive volumes to the host and provides a port access status switchover interface to switch over the working controllers for volumes. For example, when a controller fails, the status of the controller port is set to Unavailable. After the host multipathing software that supports ALUA has learned the status, it switches I/Os from the failed controller to the peer controller.
- When Switchover Mode is set to Enable ALUA, you need to set Path Type, whose possible options are Optimal path and Non-optimal path.
