Managing the WORM Policy of a Bucket

This section describes how to manage existing WORM policies, including modifying and deleting WORM policies and extending the protection period of WORM policies.

• Configuring a WORM Policy
  This operation enables you to configure a WORM policy for a bucket. Write Once Read Many (WORM) enables you to set a protection period during which data can be read but cannot be modified or deleted. After the protection period expires, you can read, modify, or delete data in the bucket.
• Modifying the WORM Policy of a Bucket
  This operation enables you to modify inactivated WORM policies of a bucket, including modifying names and protection periods of objects.
• Extending the Protection Period of a WORM Policy
  This operation enables you to extend the protection period of an activated WORM policy.
• Deleting a WORM Policy
  This operation enables you to delete an inactive WORM policy from a bucket.
