Adding an Object

Procedure

1. Choose Services > Block Service > QoS Policy.
2. Click More on the right of the desired QoS policy and select Add Object.

   The Add Object page is displayed.

3. Select an object type. Possible options are Volume, Snapshot, and Storage Pool.
   • Volume
     1. Select the storage pool to which desired volumes belong.
     2. In the Available Volumes area, select one or more volumes and they are added to the Selected Volumes area on the right automatically.
   • Snapshot
     1. Select the storage pool to which desired snapshots belong.
     2. In the Available Snapshots area, select one or more snapshots and they are added to the Selected Snapshots area on the right automatically.
   • Storage Pool

     In the Available Storage Pools area, select one or more storage pools and they are added to the Selected Storage Pools area on the right automatically.

     

     If different QoS policies are configured for a volume and its owning storage pool, the QoS policy configured for the volume takes effect.

4. Click OK.
5. Confirm your operation as prompted.
