Viewing and Modifying Node Information

This operation enables you to view a node's details.

Procedure

  1. Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware.
  2. In the function pane, click the name of the node that you want to view.

    The Node Details page is displayed.

    The Node Details page varies based on the node type.

  3. View the node details. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Name

    Indicates the name of the node.

    Status

    Indicates the health status of the node.

    Node Model

    Indicates the model of the node.

    [Value range]

    • The value contains 0 to 127 characters.
    • The value can contain only letters, digits, spaces, and special characters () _ -.
    • The value cannot start or end with a space.
    NOTE:

    This parameter can be modified only for newly-added nodes that have not been used.

    Cabinet

    Indicates the cabinet where the node resides.

    [Value range]

    • The value contains 1 to 256 characters.
    • The name can contain only letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
    • The value cannot start or end with a space.
    NOTE:

    This parameter can be modified only for newly-added nodes that have not been used.

    Chassis

    Indicates the chassis where the node resides.

    [Value range]

    • The value contains 0 to 256 characters.
    • The name can contain only letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
    NOTE:

    This parameter can be modified only for newly-added nodes that have not been used.

    Slot

    Indicates the slot number where the node resides.

    [Value range]

    The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4096.

    NOTE:

    This parameter can be modified only for newly-added nodes that have not been used.

    Management IP Address

    Indicates the management IP address of the node.

    Storage IP Address

    Indicates the storage IP address of the node.

    Role

    Indicates the role of the node.

    Maintenance Mode

    Indicates whether the maintenance mode of the node is enabled.

    NOTE:

    This parameter is available only when the node is a storage node.

    Processes

    Indicates the processes on the node.

    NOTE:

    A process displayed in red indicates that the process is abnormal.

    Ports

    Indicates port information about the node.

    NOTE:

    If a port is displayed in red, the port is faulty or disconnected.

    Disks

    Indicates disk information about the node. You can click a disk icon to view the disk details.

    NOTE:
    • If a disk is displayed in red, the disk is faulty.
    • If a disk is displayed in orange, the disk is in sub-health state.

    SSD Cards & NVMe SSDs

    Indicates information about NVMe SSDs on the node. You can click the icon of an NVMe SSD to view its details.

    NOTE:
    • If a disk is displayed in red, the disk is faulty.
    • If a disk is displayed in orange, the disk is in sub-health state.
    • Before removing an NVMe SSD in any of slots 80 to 103 or 124 to 127, click Logically Power Off. Remove the NVMe SSD only after it is logically powered off.

    M.2 SSDs

    Indicates information about M.2 SSDs on the node.

    NOTE:
    • If a disk is displayed in red, the disk is faulty.
    • If a disk is displayed in orange, the disk is in sub-health state.
