Setting the Maintenance Mode for a Node

Prerequisites

The node has been added to a storage pool.

Procedure

1. Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware.
2. Click in the information box of the desired node and select Set Maintenance Mode.
   

   • You can also click to go to the list view, click More on the right of the desired node, and select Set Maintenance Mode.
   • It takes 45 minutes for a node to be switched to the maintenance mode. If the switchover times out, you need to manually switch the node to the maintenance mode.

3. Click the node name. On the Node Details page that is displayed, check whether the value of Maintenance Mode is Yes.
