Expanding the Capacity of a Disk Pool

This operation enables you to expand the capacity of a disk pool in an HDFS storage pool.

Procedure

  1. Choose Cluster > Cluster > Storage Pool.
  2. Click the name of the desired HDFS storage pool. On the page that is displayed, click the Disk Pool tab.
  3. Click More on the right of the desired disk pool and select Expand Capacity.

    The Expand Capacity page is displayed.

  4. Select the Node or Disk tab.

    • Node

      In the list, select the desired nodes and disks in the cluster to be added to the disk pool.

      • You can click Add and add nodes and disks in the cluster on the Choose Node and Disk page that is displayed.
      • You can select one or more added nodes or disks and click Remove to remove them.
    • Disk
      1. Click the Disk tab.
      2. Select the desired disks on the nodes that have been added to the disk pool and add them to the disk pool.

  5. Click OK.
  6. Confirm your operation as prompted.
