Data written to a cluster before the cluster is added to a replication group is called historical data. This operation enables you to synchronize historical data from a source cluster to a target cluster.
Prerequisites
You have created a replication group.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Object Protection > Remote Replication.
- In the area of the desired replication group, click Synchronize Historical Data.
The Synchronize Historical Data page is displayed on the right.
- Select a source cluster and target cluster from the Source Cluster and Target Cluster drop-down lists, respectively.
- Target Cluster cannot be the same as Source Cluster.
- After a historical data synchronization task is created, the system immediately synchronizes historical data from the source cluster to the target cluster and generates a related alarm. After the task is complete, the alarm is automatically cleared.
- Click OK.
