Viewing Tiering Policies

Context

• On the tiering policy management page, you can click to refresh tiering policy information.
• On the tiering policy management page, you can click next to a parameter and enter a keyword to search for the required tiering policy information.
• On the tiering policy management page, you can click to select the tiering policy parameters you want to view.

Procedure

1. Choose Services > HDFS Service > Tiering.
2. Click the Placement Policy or Migration Policy tab.
3. Select a file system from the left list. In the function pane, view tiering policy information about the file system. Table 1 and Table 2 describe related parameters.
   

   When a file applies to multiple periodical migration policies, the priority of a policy is determined by its position in the table. Policies are sorted in descending order of priority. By default, migration policies are sorted by creation time. You can click Up or Down to change the location of a policy in the table.

   Table 1 Placement policy parameters

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Indicates the name of a placement policy.
   ID	Indicates the ID of a placement policy.
   Tier Grade	Indicates the tier grade of a placement policy. That is, the tier grade of the disk pool where data written to the files that apply to the placement policy is placed.

   Table 2 Migration policy parameters

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Indicates the name of a migration policy.
   ID	Indicates the ID of a migration policy.
   Tier Grade	Indicates the tier grade of a migration policy. That is, the tier grade of the disk pool to which the files that apply to the migration policy are migrated.
   File Name Filtering	Indicates the file filtering policy of a migration policy.
   Execution Mode	Indicates the execution mode of a migration policy.
   Time Policy	Indicates the operation time filtering policy of a migration policy.
