Viewing Bucket Information

This operation enables you to view bucket information, including the bucket name, region, used quota/total quota, and number of parity fragments.

Context

On the bucket management page, you can click to refresh bucket information.

Prerequisites

You have obtained the access certificate and security certificate of an activated account.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > Object Service > Bucket.
  2. Enter the access certificate and security certificate of the account and click Authenticate.

    • You can also choose Service > Object Service > Account, click the name of the desired account, and click the Bucket tab.
    • You can perform authentication on either of the Bucket or User tab page.

  3. In the function pane, view the bucket information. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Bucket Name

    Indicates the name of a bucket.

    You can click the name of a bucket to view its summary.

    Region

    Indicates the region where a bucket is located.

    Used/Total

    Indicates the capacity of uploaded objects in a bucket, total capacity of objects that can be uploaded in a bucket, and the ratio of the used capacity to the total capacity.

    Parity Fragments

    Indicates the number of parity fragments.

    Objects

    Indicates the number of uploaded objects in a bucket.

    Created

    Indicates the date on which a bucket was created.

    Owning Cluster

    Indicates the replication group or cluster to which a bucket belongs.

    You can click the name of a replication group or cluster to view its details.
