Mapping a Volume

This operation enables you to map a volume to hosts, host groups, or VBSs.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > Block Service > Volume.
  2. Select the volume for which you want to create a mapping and click Map.

    The Map Volume page is displayed.

    Alternatively, you can click More on the right of a volume and choose Map to create a mapping.

  3. Select Host, Host Group, or VBS as required. In the Available Hosts, Available Host Groups, or Available VBSs area, select one or more objects and they are added to the Selected Hosts, Selected Host Groups, or Selected VBSs area on the right automatically.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Confirm your operation as prompted.
