This operation enables you to delete a HyperMetro pair if it is no longer needed.
Prerequisites
You can delete a HyperMetro pair only when its Running Status is Paused, Force Start, Invalid, or To be synchronized, and its secondary volumes are not mapped.
If Running Status is Invalid, you can only delete the local storage system's configuration information. To delete the remote storage system's configurations, you must perform this operation on the remote storage system separately.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Block Protection > HyperMetro Pair.
- Select one or more HyperMetro pairs and click Delete.
You can also click More on the right of a desired HyperMetro pair and select Delete.
- (Optional) Determine whether to select Delete configurations of the local device (applicable only to scenarios where the HyperMetro pair fails or the remote device is disconnected) based on site requirements.
If you do not select this option, you cannot delete the HyperMetro pair when the local device is disconnected from the remote device.
- Confirm your operation as prompted.
