Modifying a CHAP Authentication

This operation enables you to modify parameters of a CHAP authentication.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > Block Service > Host > CHAP Authentication.
  2. Click More on the right of the desired CHAP authentication and select Modify.

    The Modify CHAP Authentication page is displayed.

  3. Enter the new password for the CHAP authentication and confirm the password.

    • The password cannot start with a hyphen (-).
    • The password contains 12 to 16 characters.
    • The password must contain two of the following character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters, including '~!@#$%^&*()-_=+\| [{} ,] ;:",<.>/ ?.

  4. Click OK.
  5. Confirm your operation as prompted.
